Xavier Georges
Xavier was born in Belgium in 1970 and now lives in Namur. He developed an early passion for board games, role-playing games and wargames. He loves all games, from the most complex to the simplest, with a preference for the former. His studies of architecture and urban planning in Louvain-la-Neuve inspired him to design a city-building game that did more than simply rolling dice to move around a track... it was the beginning of his journey as an author. His best-known games are Carson City (2009), Troyes (2010), Ginkgopolis (2012) and Carnegie (2022). Don't expect Xavier to release 10 games a year. He fine-tunes his designs for years until he's completely satisfied!
