David Purkiss

David lives in the UK with his family, and has been working in adult education for over 10 years, teaching IT to a variety of adult learners.  After being into board gaming as a hobby for many years (enjoying countless plays of Ghosts Stories, FUSE, Lord of Waterdeep, Paper Tales, Race for the Galaxy, Hanabi and CuBirds), David designed Sfynx, inspired by solo and co-operative board games that he enjoys for their close, exciting, and memorable moments. He might come up one day with a game on pandas, that he had the chance to observe in their habitat while visiting China. When David isn't gaming, he enjoys listening to music (including Joe Satriani, Chris Robinson, Tom Petty and Soilwork), reading graphic novels and books, exercising and most importantly being with friends and family.
